One last kiln firing for 2022

As the year 2022 comes to a close, it’s hard to believe how much has happened in the past 12 months. It’s been an exciting, if not challenging, year.

Some of the highlights include:

🌍 We had one of our best trade shows ever at the start of the year, bringing in lots of new customers and getting to meet with current stockists.

🆕 We took the dive into textiles, including both tote bags and tea towels. It’s been hard to keep these in stock as they fly off the shelves for our stockists.

☕️ We’re exploring new bone china ware, including new mug shapes, tankards, jugs and pet bowls.

That being said, some of the challenges we’ve overcome this year have been:

⛓️ Supply chain issues caused by a mixture of Covid, Brexit, the cost of living crisis and widespread industrial action.

🖌️ Sharp increase in demand for bespoke ceramics, causing lead times to jump. We now have a more scalable supply chain for 2023.

💾 New systems put in place, including ERP and CRM, which has been both a headache at times and a joy when it’s going right!

A huge thank you to all our lovely stockists and customers for an amazing year. Here's to an even better 2023!
