Orla Kiely exhibition lands in London

Described by Orla herself as "a riot of colour and pattern all under one roof", an exhibition celebrating the queen of print's work throughout the years is now open at London's Fashion and Textile Museum. We popped down to London for the opening and we weren't disappointed. Here are some highlights, including an archive of mugs we've produced for Orla over the years (photographed for her accompanying book, A Life In Pattern). Talking about the exhibition, the Fashion and Textile Museum said, "Highlights include the original paper sketches for the trademark 'Stem' graphic, created in the 1990s, which has evolved to feature on everything from mugs and dresses to notebooks and even cars, plus prototypes for her early signature bags and the evolution of the iconic 'Pear' and 'Flower' designs." Orla Kiely: A Life In Pattern runs until 25th September. https://www.facebook.com/fashionandtextilemuseum/photos/a.10150118238618824.318304.27012833823/10156447844533824/?type=3&permPage=1 https://www.facebook.com/orlakielyofficial/photos/a.129654947067933.13862.108965912470170/1897398890293521/?type=3 https://www.facebook.com/BBCRadio4/videos/2522967377928401/
