Delivery

Ceramics are decorated to order and fired in kilns overnight. Please allow 2-3 working days for your order to be despatched, plus additional time for delivery. Other products leave the next working day except where ordered with ceramics.
Care

All mclaggan+co mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. 

The decoration transfers are produced using traditional silk screen printing methods, and over a long period of time, some colours made fade. To avoid this, we recommend using a mild detergent and a low temperature setting on your dishwasher.

Mug cracked after one use

They designs are great. However upon pouring boiling water into it to make a tea I heard a pop and the water poured out. The mug had cracked spilling boiling water out all over the worktop.

Thanks so much for your order and for leaving a review. Sorry to hear your mug cracked on first use. This sounds like thermal shock, which can occasionally happen when bone china is particularly cold. We recommend popping a teaspoon in the mug first, or a splash of milk before adding the boiling water. For more care and use tips, please visit https://www.msmugs.com/pages/care-and-use.

We will of course replace your mug. Our factory reopens on January 6th, with this being our first kiln firing of 2025, so the replacement should leave our factory on Tuesday 7th.
