Delivery
Ceramics are decorated to order and fired in kilns overnight. Please allow 2-3 working days for your order to be despatched, plus additional time for delivery. Other products leave the next working day except where ordered with ceramics.
Care
All mclaggan+co mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe.
The decoration transfers are produced using traditional silk screen printing methods, and over a long period of time, some colours made fade. To avoid this, we recommend using a mild detergent and a low temperature setting on your dishwasher.

I purchased this for a metal detecting buddy of mine. We regularly find coins dating all the way back to the Battle of Hastings (and beyond), so it seemed appropriate to give him something that referenced all the kings and queens depicted on those coins.
I have to say that this mug is a quality piece of bone china and arrived in an attractive, glossy, branded box which had been placed within protective plain cardboard packaging. All the monarchs (inc King Charles) have been nicely represented and the reign dates clearly printed. To maintain the integrity of the screen-printed designs it is advised to hand-wash only. These mugs are available in three sizes: 300ml, 350ml and 400ml. In my opinion, the 300ml and 350ml are too small to be classed as mugs, which is why I’m pleased I ordered a 400ml one. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase - hence my 5 star rating.
I bought my first McLaggan mug in London 7 years ago. It’s a 400 ml mug that was done for LSE and features a picture map of the city. I’ve absolutely loved it. It’s a fantastic size, and fantastic quality. Americans don’t make bone china mugs for tea, and it’s a shame. I decided I needed a new mug, and with the ascension of HM the King, it seemed like a good time. My new mug is also the 400 ml size. It’s practically perfect in every way.
